Comme je l'avais déjà annoncé il y a quelques temps, j'ai eu le plaisir de participer aux illustrations de petits livres dérivés du prochain
Disney Raiponce.

Like I had already announced a few times ago, I was pleased to take part in the illustrations of little books adapted from next Disney's Tangled. For that, I really want to thank with all my heart Byron Howard, one of the directors of Tangled, as much as Shephard which was so supportive and helpful and finally thank Renato L., Disney Consumer Products' team, as well as Glen Keane and Dave Goetz for the various corrections and indications they shared on my work.

The first book that I had great pleasure to illustrate is an interactive book from TAG LeapFrog's collection. The book summarizes the adventures of Flynn and Rapunzel and offers activities and educational games all along the pages that I illustrated in full colors, backgrounds and characters included. For this experiment, I really make a point of very thanking Teena G. for the very sympathetic collaboration. Rapunzel's Tale - Stepping StonesLe second livre sur lequel j'ai travaillé est un petit roman sans prétention, narrant les aventures de
Raiponce selon son point de vue. Ce livre n'est disponible qu'en langue anglaise. Je ne suis pas l'auteur de la couverture mais j'ai réalisé les illustrations en noir et blanc qui figurent à l'intérieur, conjointement et sous la direction d'un des artistes majeurs de
Disney Publishing,
Jean-Paul Orpinas.
Voici donc un aperçu de quelques-unes de ces illustrations où j'ai pu conserver à peu près mon trait et vous pouvez également voir quelques premières esquisses de recherches.
The second book on which I worked is a small novel without claim, telling the adventures of Rapunzel according to her point of view. This book is only available in English language. I am not the author of the cover but I carried out the illustrations in black and white which appear inside and through the story, jointly and under the indications from one of the major artists of Disney Publishing, Jean-Paul Orpinas. Here you can see some of these illustrations on which I could preserve a bit of my own style and you can also see some first drafts of research.

Enfin, voici ce qui aurait dû être un troisième livret illustré pour les touts-petits chez
Disney UK-Europe, qui hélas pour des raisons financières, ne sera pas édité malgré le grand plaisir que j'ai eu à travailler avec
Claire B. que je remercie sincèrement.
Malgré la déception évidente, j'ai le loisir de partager ces quelques dessins retraçant l'enfance de
Raiponce et ses activités avec son caméléon
Pascal.
S'en suivent des dessins promotionnels également abandonnés de
Raiponce.
J'aurai peut-être davantage à partager bientôt.
En attendant, j'espère que ce post vous aura plu autant que j'ai eu de plaisir à apporter ma petite touche modeste à ce film
Disney longuement attendu.
Lastly, here what should have been a third booklet illustrated for toddlers at Disney U.K.-Europe, which sadly won't be published due to financial reasons, despite the great pleasure I had to work with Claire B. whom I thank sincerely. In spite of disappointment, I have the pleasure to share these drawings here, featuring Rapunzel's childhood and her activities with her pet chameleon named Pascal. Also abandoned are the following promotional drawings of Rapunzel.
I will have perhaps more to show soon. While waiting, I hope that this post will have pleased you as much as I was happy to add my small modest touch on this long-awaited Disney animated feature.
